friendly staff and relaxed environment
Liked: aesthetically pleasant and clean
Disliked: bar area small so could not always get a seat on an evening

The Baileys hotel next door...
Liked: I didn?t really after our stay
Disliked: Fire alarm went off twice, air conditioning didn?t work but reported, broken toilet seat on arrival, all lights in after room cleaned so not saving energy, hairs in bathroom, cracked tiles on floor, chopped wash basin, lack of sockets. we had window open all night and very noisy as room so hot. room 215 miles from lift, end room. when using bathroom through the night the light so bright woke other person up. we had to boil the kettle on the floor and tea etc not replenished. Bathroom not cleaned properly either massive lack of customer service, no spoke to you when entering or leaving the hotel and reception never asked about our stay on check out.we never had a good night sleep at all over the 3 days

Very poor
Disliked: we had a problem with the AC, after 2 days it?s working but with a hot Aur and we tried to call customer service but with no answer and even we had to check out before one day from checking out ,, but honestly the room was good and the bed is big enough but the problem was the AC.

Concenient location
Liked: Location is the only reason why I still stay at this property. It?s very convenient.
Disliked: The rooms are never thoroughly clean. Room service is the worst.

Why would I come back?...
Liked: Close to the tube
Disliked: Decidedly ordinary and dated room. Rude bar staff too interested in complaining to each other about their working conditions. Waiter threw a tray down. Staff would start a conversation with you then walk away before you have answered to speak to each other.

The good location and facilities...
Liked: The facilities ( bath, toilets) were of good qualityOverall good facility and location
Disliked: The room service was poor ( requested for drinking water 1st day, no answer for 10 days of lodging)The cleaning was haphazardly done and rooms uncleaned several times (though I didn't put Don't Disturb ' sign) had to call cleaners. The reception wasn't courteous on arrival ( was it sterotyping) Phone calls to receptionist sometimes ignored
