The overall price was good for a two night stay and the hotel is located within 10-15 minutes of downtown Durham and 25 minutes from the airport. Check in and check out were fast and efficient. I was a bit surprised that I was asked to put a $100 incidentals charge/hold on my room although I suppose it's standard. I think the Millennium Durham is due for some upgrades to its exterior, parking areas, hallways and entry ways. That said, it was a good stay.

Liked: Convenience to downtown Durham. The price was okay as well.
Disliked: The rooms and hallways are a bit dated but overall clean and tidy.

Liked: Front desk was very nice and upgraded our room due to noise of night club.
Disliked: Decor and rooms need to be updated and modernized. Also, please take the night club out of the hotel - it's tacky.

Liked: Location was great because it was very close to Duke Medical Center
Disliked: We had to leave at 4:45 AM to get to Duke at 5 AM for surgery. I took a load of bags down to the car while my wife waited in the room. After putting my bags in the car, the front hotel door was locked and I could NOT get back in the hotel. I tried putting the room keys on the electronic thing but it would NOT unlock the door. I knocked and knocked but there was no desk clerk. If he was in the back, he didn’t hear me knocking. I really started panicking because I was worried about missing the surgery time. I had my phone so I called my wife to come down and let me in. She did. We went back up to the room to get the rest of our bags. However, we NEVER saw a desk clerk even after talking loudly to see if he was in the back.
