Superb

Excellent Location with Untapped Potential

Liked: The hotel’s location is truly excellent — just a 5-minute walk from Bologna Centrale station. In about 3–4 minutes, you can reach what could be considered the city’s main street, and from there, enjoy a lively 20-minute walk through shops and crowds to the city center. At first glance, the hotel gives off a 4-star vibe and was probably one of the best in its time. The room was incredibly spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows, a large bathroom, and a luxurious feel overall. Breakfast was decent.
Disliked: Those very positive first impressions unfortunately fade over time. As mentioned, the hotel seems stuck in its past — it’s somewhat outdated and not well-maintained. The air condition… no information at all was provided about how to use it. There was no guidance on how to connect to Wi-Fi. The room had a phone to reach reception, but it didn’t work. Some of the power outlets had issues as well.It feels like the hotel is not getting the attention or investment it deserves. With some staff training and proper maintenance, it could easily become one of the top hotels in the area.

Disliked: No kettle in room. Place is looking a little run down.

Bad

Disliked: My room wasn’t cleaned or ready when I checked in… when I entered the room after check-in there were towels on the floor in the bathroom and the window curtains were torn off the wall and laying on the floor. The window was ajar. The staff were friendly but unhelpful and apathetic to the issues.

Liked: Staff, breakfast, and location were good.
Disliked: The breakfast room was hot, air conditioning not really working.

Liked: Average breakfast, good location near the train station.
Disliked: The room, with all its furniture, is outdated and has a 2000s feel to it. The door frames in the bathroom were broken and peeling, and the shower stall was glued in several places.
