One of the best hotel...
Liked: Awesome amenities and breakfast as well as wine tasting choices and abundance. Service proactive and extraordinary in helpfulness.
Disliked: Nothing that could be helped by hotel ? the increased number of people in my old home town: much more automobile traffic in downtown Mill Valley than 5-10 years ago!

Liked: Our fully equipped cabin in the redwood forest was wonderful. The staff was extremely attentive and the welcome back gratuities added a special touch.

Liked: The room was furnished beautifully and the bathroom was luxurious.
Disliked: Arrived around 8.30 pm, it was dark and I could not find the hotel entrance. Apparently the sign for the hotel is on the awning, which is not lit up!! Had to walk up numerous steps to my room with heavy luggage as there was no elevator to these rooms. In the morning I was rudely woken by the noise of chairs being pushed around the floor above me. My room was underneath the breakfast room and the staff did not consider anyone sleeping below when they enthusiastically arranged the tables and chairs for breakfastl Breakfast would be fine for fruitarians and those who do not have a gluten or dairy intolerance. In this day and age I was shocked to find no soy or almond milk for cereal, and no gluten free bread. Given that this was a continental breakfast, I wish I had been wared.
