Disappointing relative to prior stays....

Liked: I have been to this hotel previously with a nice experience. The parking was easy and location is excellent.
Disliked: The room was down a maintenance hallway, which was under repair. It was a dark basement room that looked out onto an exit well in the parking lot. The AC rumbled all night, and a check of its filters revealed they were filthy. There was a pool down the hall with the smell of chlorine when passed by. It was Motorcycle Week all night... It was nothing like the experience that brought me back for this second visit.

Liked: Liked you could walk to town easily and by the Lake. Food at Lake House was good. Easy walk to pool and not crowded. Room was spacious and clean.
Disliked: Seating at Lake House without a reservation was not good. I was told there was a pool at Chase House but when we checked in they told us it was in building next to us. I did enjoy pool but it was old and could have been cleaner. We would have preferred a room in the middle of the 3rd floor instead of at end of corridor. Street noise was loud during the day and it was motor cycle week!! AC was noisy.

Beautiful cottage like resort tucked...

Liked: Beautiful location right next to the water. Each area is thoughtfully done and has a beautiful old cottage feel throughout. Check in was smooth and our room was great. Kids loved the little puzzles in the hallways and all the other little touches throughout property.
Disliked: Nothing to note really, we had a nice stay. Value for money exceeded expectations and we had no issues. Therefore, nothing that we didnt like!
