Liked: The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: There is a degree of inconvenience due to the renovation taking place at present, but the hotel will be extremely good once it is finished.

Liked: The room was a nice size and the bathroom was decent too.
Disliked: We weren't told about the renovations and there being no restaurant and spa before we booked and paid for it due to nothing being on their website or the booking info.After contacting them when we couldn't get through to the spa they did finally change their website and the Booking.com info to inform other future customers.It meant our plans had to change because we weren't able to use the advertised facilities.

Building site

Liked: Location was fantastic.
Disliked: The fact that the hotel never mentioned it was a building site and NO facilities were available until it took the money 48 hours before arrival.

Once fully renovated I’m sure...

Liked: Location and bedroom were good.
Disliked: Still having to pay full price despite no restaurant and having to go through a dirty entrance with scaffolding everywhere. Heating not working hence having to use a portable radiator. For a newly renovated room the paint on the bathroom door was flaking off and the furniture was a bit tatty and old.
