Milestone Motel

Disappointing

As expected for the price

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable.
Disliked: The traffic noise was louder than we had expected. We had a parking spot in front of our room, but because the truck parked in the next spot was large, we decided to park around the side. The hotel does not have an ice machine. When I asked for ice I was given a cup that was about half full.

It was a great stay....

Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got our rooms at the back of the motel, so it was very quiet and private. The rooms were also very clean. We stayed for four nights. The location was wonderful for wishing to travel anywhere in the Collingwood area - by foot or by vehicle. Tim Horton's, McDonald's, Kelsey's right there. Beautiful trails, park and waterfront right there, too. When we return, we will definitely stay at the Milestone Motel again.
Disliked: Perhaps a selection of pillows might be nice. The ones I had were too firm for me, but I was able to get a softer one from another room. That said, the bed was very comfortable.

Liked: Location, close to downtown. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Near the lake for walking.
Disliked: Haven't encountered anything bad. That is good.
