Short stay in Milan

Liked: Breakfast was fantastic, lots of variety and choice for everyone.Room size was good, there were 4 of us so we had the family room. Plenty of towels to cater for all of us.
Disliked: Upon check in, the hotel ‘held’ an extra €150 extra to the actual amount to be paid for the stay. I found this unusual as normally the actual amount for the stay is taken and you’re informed that your card details are held in case there are any further charges. It was released after check out, but just something to be aware of.First morning at breakfast I had to go to reception to get authorisation that breakfast was included in our stay ( booking made included breakfast). I had to show my booking confirmation on my phone and they still sought approval from their finance department, seemed a little disorganised.Other than that, our stay was pleasant and the service received from the restaurant staff, especially the two ‘Monica’s’ was excellent.

Liked: room was good, not excelent but good, I missed more options of drinks in the mini bar. Breakfast was good, but the coffee served was cold.
Disliked: Recepcionist were not friendly, they really need to improve on it!
