Very good

Liked: Located out of town, our room overlooked a green play area where we were lucky enough to wake up to snow and deer. We missed the bear that had visited the area. The beds comfy. The site in general looked a little more dated than some. Location perfect for mountain and lakes.
Disliked: Chalet was heated by a small heater which had a noisy fan that kicked in and out during the night. No heating in the bathroom. A heated towel rail would have been a good addition.

Ok but not exceptional

Liked: The staff was very friendly. The beds were comfortable. Location is beautiful.
Disliked: The bbqs are not working properly. The cabins are feeling a little neglected. Our fireplace was not working. Stayed here 6 months ago. I enjoyed our stay then, but this last time, I was disappointed. For 500$ a night, there should be no issues. Check your cabins, and make sure everything is working as it should.

Great location

Liked: This place is sooo lovely. Views / location are amazing. The cabin itself is excellent and provides a great base for the area
Disliked: Difficult to find fault although as you ask it would be nice if the onsite shop had a better selection of just the basics. We’d been travelling for multiple hours to find the advertised store had hardly any basic supplies such as milk.

Only worth staying during off...

Liked: Managed to book an off season rate, making it affordable. However the same room a week later was almost double the price. Room itself was spacious and moderately clean.
Disliked: I was contacted just after booking and told I wouldn’t be charged the resort fee due to the hot tub being down for maintenance and told again this at check in. However my credit card was charged the full amount that still included the resort fee.The room also smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and there was a significant amount of hair in the bed.
