We definitely will not stay...
Liked: Honestly, not very much we were given a room on the fourth floor just two doors down from the elevator, which was a great location in the hotel for us because my husband is disabled. The location was also a plus.
Disliked: Well, where do we begin first of all everything that is said is not at 100% truth yes the property is under renovation, but it is not called midtown suites it is actually La Quinta. The staff was hit or miss… overnight staff was NOT FRIENDLY… we checked in our room and I had to go to the bathroom, I sat on the toilet seat and I was only half attached and I slid right off! I called down to the front desk for maintenance and they documented it at least she said she did when we went to leave the hotel. I stopped and told another person and they said they knew nothing about it. A couple hours later a housekeeper showed up with a plunger then she realized it wasn’t Plugged that our seat was half off. She came back with black electrical tape and taped. The other half down is the one girl obviously did not speak very good English and relayed the wrong information to housekeeping checked in on Saturday and checked out on Monday. Also, the beds are not queen beds they are at the most doubles or full, but they’re not queens. We had no shampoo or soap there were crumbs all over the desk chair I went down for breakfast Sunday morning, and there were oranges that look like they were over a week old. There was only four yogurts in the refrigerator. There was a wheat bread that was available to make toast, which was stale. They had two hot options of sausage and scrambled eggs it was just very disappointing to say the least. The handicap parking spot that is closest to the hotel entrance was taken up by a trailer, which I think is wrong. That spot should be available for handicap visitors.

Misbranded, overpriced accommodation.
Liked: The location and the room were great!
Disliked: The location rebranded to La Quinta and there was no indication of this on the site. The property charged as if it were Midtown instead of La Quinta. There was also no indication of renovations and there were supplies and equipment throughout the hallways and some minor issues with the room lock, the shower, and the blinds. The staff did address these issues, however, the rate was too high considering the issues. This also included the cluttered and limited dining space and the lackluster breakfast.
