Disliked: Breakfast buffet could have been more generous with more fruit and cheeseI didn't enjoy my meal - consisted of a plate of sliced peppers with hot spices and no additional yoghurt or mango chutney. Certainly didn't meet the requiremnets of a vegetable tikka masala and over-priced.

Liked: Very good few days..a couple if niggles..asked for more hangers never received them..First morning breakfast didn't arrive! Got it after asking and received wrong order.. scaffold was a bit annoying..other than that had some lovely meals in restaurant ..
Disliked: Scaffold.. dogs too many.. especially in the restaurant area..

Disliked: Our balcony looked straight over scaffolding which ruined the view. The building is looking shabby and the interior is very tired. Had a full English breakfast on the first day at 9.00 and it seemed to have been kept warm for a very long time and was horrible. On the key folder it said breakfast for residents was from 7.30 however when we went down at 7.30, so we could get freshly cooked food, we were told it didn't start till 8.00 on a weekend (maybe put this on the key folder)

Good location, great room but...

Liked: Our room. We had a family room. It was very clean, spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. We had a sea view which was great.
Disliked: The eating areas in the hotel were unclean and there were no cleared/clean tables to sit at. The staff were very slow and didn’t seem to be bothered that the tables round about them were needing cleared and cleaned.

Liked: The room was lovely and the location.
Disliked: Scaffolding was not expected but not intrusive. The reception area was unexpected, shared with the bar area it was very chaotic when we arrived on the Saturday afternoon it looked like staff were expected to do various jobs. Since our previous visit in 2022 the hotel seemed to have changed, the menu now just seems to be glorified pub grub, no local produce which was disappointing.

Disliked: No one told us about the scaffolding over the building.No running hot water in the bedroom, got told by reception it as due to the old building and plumbing problems.We paid extra for a sea view with just looking at scaffolding up against our window.Windows in hotel very dirty and the curtains had mould in bedroomWaited too long for food, over an hour all the times with no service, very poor all the time.The food was over priced for what you got.Overall very disappointing and would not give this hotel three stars .
