Midland Hotel

Pleasant stay, would return but...

Liked: Location on the see front and architecture of hotel was fabulous example of the art deco period. Very clean and stylish. Free parking a bonus.
Disliked: Food good, but not great, portions measly- Ate dinner and breakfast. Shower water pressure poor.Some finishes were poor on the inner decoration.

Wonderful Art-Deco Hotel, mostly restored...

Liked: Fantastic building. We last stayed at The Midland in 1998, it was so lovely to return and celebrate our Wedding Anniversary with you x
Disliked: There was nothing to dislike:)

Disliked: A little dated, strange bathroom set up in room

Disliked: Slightly dated, shower soaked the bathroom floor making it a slip hazard

Liked: The history and character
Disliked: Staff were new and unaware of options. Basic level of service despite higher tariff benefit taker. Coffee at breakfast was unexceptional.

Great stay

Liked: Top floor sea view room was great. Food was great
Disliked: At 1st breakfast we thought they'd forgotten us, no one came to take our order but they did seem to be short staffed
