Liked: The grounds and hotel were very well kept clean and well maintained, it was quiet and near to york but with enough distance to be peaceful

Liked: Beautiful setting, very close to York. Fantastic staff who could not do enough. And highly recommend the restaurant, the food was amazing.

A wonderful relaxing hotel

Liked: Beautiful surroundings and gorgeous gardens. Pretty room and comfy bed. Fab spa. Wonderful staff and great breakfast
Disliked: The bathroom was dated and it was difficult to turn the bath taps on without actually getting in the bath , due to the fixed shower screen . It would be easy to scald yourself under the shower too as v v hot water .

Disliked: Room The room had a musky smell the bedding was old the room was cluttered with mismatching furniture. Had to have the windows open all night spoilt our anniversary trip.
