Beware the annex rooms

Liked: Convenient location
Disliked: Annex room was a totally different type of facility than the main inn; we did not understand this when we booked. From the information given, we knew we were booking a room in an addition or adjacent building rather than in the historic inn itself, but we could not have imagined the degree of difference. The main inn is charming and full of character, as represented. The "annex" is a separate budget motel constructed behind the inn. It is a satisfactory example of budget motels, but appears totally unrelated to the main inn in any way other than the checkin desk. This should be more clearly represented in the booking.com listing.

Long day's journey to delight.

Liked: Spacious and comfortable rooms, pristine clean. Lovely staff and excellent location, especially if you like to walk. I have stayed here multiple times recently, and each experience was pleasant and relaxing. Liked very much the room amenities and the quality of the furnishings. Easy parking. easy check-in/checkout.
Disliked: That I had to leave.
