Liked: The rooms are clean for the most part. No stains on the beds. Lots of towels. One staff member was super friendly and I appreciated it.
Disliked: Staff and guests were rude. Pool was small and cloudy. Bathroom was poorly lit. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. Was not informed that any thing would be held off my card just told they needed a card on file. The rudeness was disgusting though and I'd never in life go back. I've never felt more out of place.

Black mold on the tub....
Liked: The tub/shower had black mold. No hook on back of door to hang your towel. Lighting in bathroom was no brighter than a night light. Had to request toilet paper and got a used roll. Went for breakfast at 9am and all that was left was cereal and no cream cheese for bagels. It was not worth 700+ for 2 nights. Will never stay at a Wyndham again.

Disappointing
Liked: Good location.
Disliked: Hotel is frequently used by out-of-town construction workers during the week, a captive audience given the circumstances, so it appears that this location is not trying very hard to please its other customers, I have stayed here at 5 times during the past 18 months and have seen a continuous decline in premises and service every time. The physical condition of the rooms, for example, needs attention, for example, with unattended-to wear and physical damage in most of the rooms. There also appears to be a frequent turnover of front-desk staff and current employees don't appear to be trained or motivated to provide customer service. Two examples from this week's stay: (1) No tissues in room (empty holder in bathroom). I asked front desk to provide me with a box and was told that they currently did not have any tissues on the premises; (2) when I checked in, front desk person was so absorbed in training new staff that she painfully explained every step in the check-in to the new employee, disregarding me and turning what should be a two-minute process into ten minutes. She then persistently insisted that I sign a waiver for the pool even though I told her I had no intention of using the pool.

Very nice hotel but house...
Liked: I liked the location close to down town penn yan, easy to find
Disliked: That the 4 days that we were there our room was not cleaned had to ask for clean towels every day and toilet paper. Had dirty wet towels sit on our bathroom floor and full garbages and unchanged bedding for the price that was not except able. We asked every day when our room was going to be cleaned and even told them when we were going to be gone and that we had a pile of wet towels in our bathroom on the floor.
