Microtel Inn & Suites Huntsville

Worst room ever offered.

Liked: Maintenance man saved the day and made sure I got a decent room. Great guy. Front desk staff accommodated the change requests (the "original" room offered me should never be used until totally renovated and fixed.)
Disliked: Nasty room, broken furniture, nicks all over wall, blemishes in the window cushion, half the window opaque with water bubble, etc. TV didn't function -- overall the worst room I have ever been offered at any price in a lifetime of travel.

Started out okay. Went downhill...

Liked: Breakfast was a positive. The room beds were clean. The sink in the bathroom was broke. There was multiple drywall spots that were broken. When booking.com tried to refund me one night. It was a major headache! It's like they purposely make it near impossible to get a hold of them. Then they're refunded the wrong amount. Then management at the hotel knocked on my room started yelling at me.

Rasist staff, will never stay...

Liked: The cleaning staff was rude and very rasist! When I complained to the front desk she was very un concerned. I will never stay or recommend anyone else to stay at this hotel or any hotel connected to it!

Very good

Liked: The only complaint my husband and I had was there was no minifridge in our room. Other than that it was great price and a good location.

Excellent

Liked: Very friendly and capable staff, always there to help.
Disliked: Going outside to smoke

Disliked: The room was nasty. Food in the floors. Toiletries weren't stocked. Heater didn't work. The air dryer was taped up.

Disliked: The room was nasty the carpet was filthy, the bathroom was nasty the tub was nasty

Liked: The staff was awesome.
Disliked: The tv did not work the room look like it had been treated rough before we had our stay.
