Nice hotel and a good...

Liked: This is not a fancy hotel, but it is clean and comfortable. It was our third stay at the Microtel in York and met our needs. We stay there on our way to Acadia National park from the Boston airport because we have a favorite lobster pound nearby (Cape Neddick). Good value.

The bathroom and bed were...

Liked: The bathroom and bed were clean.
Disliked: The hallway carpets were stained and the carpet in the room had several stains. Looked like it needed a good shampooing.

Expensive for the value

Great stay for the value!

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable. We appreciated the clean towels and trash removal daily. The breakfast was good, many options and my daughter enjoyed the pool. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We appreciate the new ownership. It is a very good value, affordable for families with breakfast included and the location is great.
Disliked: The pool is heated and could have been slightly warmer. We have been staying there for years and it's too bad they took out the fitness room and hot tub, but those are just minor things that doesn't impact the way the hotel operates.

Disliked: Water had so little pressure that it took forever to take a shower. The shower pan was cracked and moldy. The breakfast was missing most of the key foods like waffle mix, sausage, and fruit. The only options were muffins, eggs, and toast
