Liked: Clean, loved that it was non smoking. Pool was a nice feature. Great location.
Disliked: Breakfast. The cereal for thr kids was stale, we tried 2 kinds and both were stale. Coffee was mostly water.. ended up ditching breakfast and going out.

Disappointing

Liked: This was our second year staying here. We like the location ,because it's close to all the areas we go to each day. It is convenient for the beaches , stores nearby, and great restaurant choices.
Disliked: Just like last year... There was a woman that does swimming lessons for kids that come to the hotel to use the pool. We always stay on the side or wait til they are done. This year she huffed and puffed when she saw us there. The next day there was a sign on the door saying the pool was closed for maintenance, however she was in there for hours going lessons. We asked the front desk , and she said they were getting out too. Hours later she is still in there with the kids for lessons , and the sign is up. We are paid guests , and want to enjoy the amenities as well. I don't think it's fair that they close the pool just for that purpose. Many other families were disappointed as well. We also stayed out of the room the hours for housekeeping. Not once did they come in to change towels out, or empty our trash. They have a little sign that says overnight guests will get towels and garbage changed daily. Last night we were relaxing in bed close to eight pm before our ride home... We heard knocking , and then the door opened. Someone was trying to come into our room so I stopped them, and said can I help you. They said oh do you need towels.. I said no , and closed the door. The cart was out when we were coming back in the morning , and still nothing was done during the day ,but you came back that late coming in our room randomly late. we didn't have the do not disturbed sign on the door til night time ,because we needed our trash emptied , and towels. We ended up using our beach towels last night. We won't be back.

Exceptional

Liked: Great location, close to York Beach, which we loved. Good value compared to York stays.
Disliked: Neighboring noise at 5:30 am. Not sure where it was coming from.

Liked: Location. Quiet, clean, comfortable beds,
Disliked: Typical continental breakfast. Not any healthy choices for diabetic.

Disliked: Had trouble with Wifi. My phone wouldn't connect due to security issues. The shower had the force of a strong mist.
