Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Urbandale/Des Moines

When you walk into the lobby it looks nice and clean. The staff was OK. The room was very clean and the bed was not comfortable. The mattress was hard and not easy to fall asleep. I probably won't be back in the future.

Liked: I thought that the room was awesome and very clean. The room had lots of room to walk around.
Disliked: The breakfast was terrible. The food was overcooked and the biscuits were hard as a rock and didn't taste very good. There was only one kind of cereal.

Liked: The receptionist was able to accommodate us with a room far away from pet owners.

Liked: I just needed a decent place to sleep, & this was an excellent value! It was clean, very comfortable bed, & a nice hot shower. I didn't eat breakfast there because I went out to eat with relatives, but they did have free breakfast available. The staff seemed very caring.

Liked: Heater made noises for about three hours during the night. There was no milk for the cereal at breakfast and staff was no where to be found. The pet charge was a little high.
