The extra deposit seemed to...

Liked: It was just a simple hotel room, no pool, breakfast was just simple and quick.
Disliked: It would have been better if you did not have to put down a deposit. It caused a lot of confusion with my credit card company. I had to make several calls to get the problem fixed.Also if the towels would have been picked up, and clean ones were left in their place, even if no total room service was available. There was a small sign at the front desk, but nobody informed us at check in of the policy.
