Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Lithonia/Stone Mountain

My husband had a broken leg and we needed one of the handicap rooms. Room was large enough for him to get around in with his wheelchair - that was a plus, but here goes the negatives... water pressure was terrible - it trickled like a child's sprinkler. Our third night stay was the worst - hotel claim water main was broken somewhere in the neighborhood, and as a result we had no water. On our second night, the hotel was doing repairs of some sort and the water had to be off for 3 hours. Hotel is doing some repairs which is good I guess but take my advice - don't stay here until they work out all the kinks.

Liked: This hotel is in close proximity to the hwy (I20). It is the most unpleasant area in LithoniaStone. It is in the middle of an older but settled neighborhood and a bunch of abandoned stores. You can miss it. It gives off hour rental motel in look and in clientele.
Disliked: Absolutely nothing, I didn't feel safe despite the number of TV cameras, that do not seem to capture anything. I showed in a moldy smelling bathroom with a roach in the toilet . Day1 (1st hour in room) had a young man knock on my door 3xs asking if I was married, and if I want to make $10. I report this to reception and outside of her screaming"who was knocking..?" Through the hallway and telling me she saw no one on her camera

Liked: Location is not too bad but stinky Inn.
Disliked: Nothing because it had an unpleasant smell.Dirty room,bed ahirt,bathroom,windows. Infrastructure is too old.Staff parking their car after each shift blocking the entrance for clients to easily get in and out.Too bad.I won't recommend to anyone or come back there.Anywhere I have to stay in the states I won't choose Microtel Inn and suites.I am done.I will rate 0/100
