Definitely Our Last Stay

Liked: In the past, we’ve enjoyed our stay. We’ve stayed at this location several times. It’s been about 5 years since our last. It’s not what it once was.
Disliked: The carpet was absolutely filthy. I would guess it’s never been shampooed. The bathroom floor was dirty and the linoleum and caulk has separated. The bed skirt was dirtyThe vent on the air conditioner is disgusting. It was full of dust, dirt and bugs. Overall, we were very disappointed but stayed because we weren’t going to be there long. In fact, when we checked in, I told the girl at the front desk that we’d most likely be leaving a day early and I asked if that would be credited back to me. She said that as long as we were out by 12pm. 2 days later, I go to the front desk to check out and asked again about the refund. She seemed totally confused. Asked if it was prepaid, which it was. I described the girl who told me I could be credited and her response was “yea, she says a lot of things”.

what I wanted in a...

Liked: breakfast had a range of choices that worked out well. Location was good for where I wanted to go. Being there was comfortable and expedicious.
Disliked: Notthing outstanding. Had to adjust the room temperature and figure out the TV controls but that was a minor problem.

One of the best

Liked: The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The beds were comfortable. The staff was courteous and very helpful and the breakfast was delicious. The kids loved being able to make their own waffles!! I would definitely stay here again.

Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was surprisingly large for being a smaller hotel. Some of the options were make your own waffles, pastries, yogurt, cereals and even hard boiled eggs. Checkout wasn't until noon which allowed us more time to get ready for the funeral we were attending. Overall for a one night stay it served its purpose and for the price you couldn't beat it.
Disliked: The bed was extremely hard and the pillows were very lumpy.

Liked: The location was convenient
Disliked: The bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly and not stocked. One towel and a wash cloth that had hair on it. The shower curtain was moldy and not sure what was in the tub. Ashes on the bedspread. Hopefully the GM will implement changes to make this location better.
