Exceptional

Overall we enjoyed our stay but the price was high for the size of room, we would stay again!

Liked: The hotel was nice, wonderful location. The parking was spacious the facilities were clean. There was a diner next door to the hotel so that was a plus.
Disliked: The staff was a bit unprofessional could use a refresher in customer service and perhaps more training on checking in. Check in took about 25 minutes with preregistration. We rented two rooms and the first room was tiny for the price. The second room we reserved for our parents was larger and nicer than the room we stayed in. The pool was not as clean as we would like so we did not get in. Breakfast was ok not very much selection.

The property was fine, but the inadequate bathroom would prevent me from recommending it to anyone or using it again.

Liked: We came to Eagle Pass for the eclipse. The property was conveniently located, and the staff were generally friendly. We didnt use the pool, but it looked clean and welcoming. There was complimentary breakfast of some sort and free, easy parking.
Disliked: We paid $316.40 per night and stayed two nights. The prices were obviously inflated for a very basic hotel due to the eclipse, and that was fine. BUT the bathroom was not adequate. The bathtub stopper was broken, so we couldnt draw a bath. A very nice maintenance man came, but he didnt have the necessary part to fix it during our stay, so no bath. On day one, the hot water came and went, preventing a normal shower. On day two, no hot water for shower - miserable. When I expressed these issues to front desk, they didnt act like it was a big deal. When I brought it up at check-out, they said manager wasnt there. I asked her to call me when she returned. She never did. There was no compensation. Our bill came to $632.80 for two nights at a simple and dated microtel. For that amount, I would expect a working bathroom.

Compact, but good Wi-Fi and...

Liked: Fast Wi-Fi and 4 kinds fresh chopped fruit for breakfast.
Disliked: Check in slow and EXTREMELY expensive for Total Eclipse timing.

Nice clean and priced good.

Liked: Last minute decision to stay in town and the place was not pricey. Its clean and kept up nice.
Disliked: The toilet handle was located under the shelf and no room to depress it.
