Liked: Great location with easy access to freeway and quiet. Casey is across the street for gas and quick refresh snacks.

Microtel's Pro's & CON'S

Liked: The facility was clean, the Continental Breakfast was excellent the staff was great except for one night clerk who wouldn't address my concerns about my room not having a refrigerator and microwave, which is traditionally supplied in every hotel room or air bnb I've stayed in over the last 50years. The refrigerator was needed for food to keep me from spending money eating out and to store medicine I needed to keep at appropriate temperatures. All I was told was how much it would cost me to upgrade to a room that had a refrigerator and microwave, like I said, items that have been supplied traditionally in every hotel stay I've stayed in for the last 50years. I feel that if that is their policy, then there should be some mention of the amenities exclusion in the description of hotel so a consumer can make a informed decision. I've stayed at Microtel hotels before and never encountered this issue and always had excellent experiences and this one was disappointing and there was no empathy at all.
Disliked: The segregation of rooms with or without certain amenities such as refrigerators, microwaves and room service, in my 3 day stay my room was never cleaned nor towels exchanged.

Liked: The lounge area/seating by the window in the room is a great spot to sit or lay out your luggage. Nice, roomy, clean room.
Disliked: No complaints, it was a good one night stay
