A most enjoyable stay

Liked: Very comfortable. Excellent service and extremely pleasant and helpful staff. Would thoroughly recommend and hope to stay here again

Friendly , welcoming

Liked: Very clean , comfortable bed , great food , welcoming staff , nothing too much trouble lovely atmosphere . We loved it but our dog had the very best holiday spoilt rotten and a lovely garden to wander in as well. Great base for a city break ,country or coast on Tyneside
Disliked: Not as wheelchair friendly as expected bed and toilet very low needed to move bed a few inches to get wheelchair to side of bed , a few work in progress jobs going on eg decking and lock needing sorting

A really good place to...

Liked: The room was a good size exceptionally clean well presented and good value. The staff pleasant , friendly and helpful. Eating in the restaurant was an absolute pleasure, the food and service excellent. If I come to Newcastle again this will be my first choice for accommodation.
Disliked: Nothing really.

A great value stopover establishment.

Liked: Easy to find. Super friendly staff with nothing too much trouble. Great price for a spacious room and very clean.Lovely Italian themed restaurant serving more than pizza and pasta.Super breakfast included.
Disliked: Only 1 bedside table so no second bedside light.No other secondary lamp on the dressing table.Pillows lumpy and in need of replacement that was reported to housekeeping.

Liked: I rarely leave reviews but I had to on this stay Staff welcoming and helpful the rooms are clean and felt relaxing to be in. The beds are very comfortable. The surrounding area is lovely lots of greenery and space. We regularly have the night away but usually in different places each time but I’ll definitely be booking here again.
