I reserved a room at this hotel without knowing anything about it. Turned out it was a fabulous choice. The staff were attentive and courteous. The hotel is immaculate. The coffee shop has delicious coffee. The location is excellent. Nice to take a morning walk along the seawall and bridge areas. View from my room was wonderful. I will stay here again when I visit the area. Highly recommend it.

Liked: The friendly staff; the cleanliness of the lobby area; the room had a fabulous view and was clean. Comfortable beds and great pillows!
Disliked: None.

A mixed experience, but overall...

Liked: The front office team were, in general, courteous and helpful. The breakfast options were very good. A special mention to Marjorie, the concierge, who was very helpful in sorting out our sightseeing and sunset cruise all together on a Hop On Hop Off deal.
Disliked: Unfortunately, when we arrived, our booking via the website was not found! An earlier email by my friend to contact the hotel directly prior to tour travel was not responded to by the hotel team. Unfortunately, we had to go through a situation clarifying to the hotel team that breakfast was included for the whole family via, and not just for 2 adults.

Staff has no clue how...

Liked: The place itself looked great and great location
Disliked: We arrived at 10:15 PM. Our room was booked for 4 people. We only had a King bed. There was supposed to be a roll away bed and a crib. There wasn?t one. We immediately called down for one. After several calls over the next 2 hours, they finally came at 12:30am. The baby had been wailing the whole time after a long day of traveling and no where to put her down. The staff offered nothing to compensate and just kept saying ?it?s coming?. The next morning upon checking out they offered to reduce the amount owed for the room. I must has misunderstood her because it sounded like she was taking off close to $60, but it ended up being closer to $6. This was a fancy EXPENSIVE hotel. I?ve had better service at a Days Inn. VERY disappointed!

Liked: Location to my objective.
Disliked: Hotel charges $10 for use of Wi-Fi. Also charges $30 for self-parking, $35 for valet parking. I understand the parking fees, although it a little high, but, after paying over $--- for a room, it's cheap to want to charge for Wi-Fi. Seems nickel-and-dime.
