Liked: Aurora is great she tried to help us with everything, and Breakfast was delicious. It's served at a restaurant across the street.
Disliked: We found cockroaches in the bathroom. We booked a room with three beds, one of them was as hard as a rock; it was almost impossible to rest. We were glad we only booked one night with them.

Comfort and convenience in Coyoacán

Liked: Converted hacienda with rooms and off the central courtyard. We stayed in a king suite that was wonderfully comfortable. Very comfortable bed, lovely views to the beautifully landscaped shared courtyard. Perfect location to explore Coyoacán; blocks from the Frida Kahlo Museum, Mercado de Coyoacán, or the Viveros de Coyoacán. Supremely accommodating staff. Would stay here again without question.
Disliked: Nada.

Second room was great.

Liked: Great location, and our second room was lovely. The staff were able to move us when we pointed out the safety issues of the first room. Charming location in Coyoacan, two blocks from Friday Kahlo's house and the main parks/market of the neighborhood.
Disliked: Unfortunately, there were a number of safety issues with our first room. There was a significant amount of fuzzy, black-colored mold all over the bathroom walls that you could smell even before running the shower - at which point the smell became overwhelming. (The mold wiped off easily, so I'm not sure why the walls weren't just wiped down before we arrived?) We had to ask to move, and thankfully our second bathroom was MUCH cleaner - however, if they hadn't had another room open we would have had to scramble to find another place to sleep. Also, the light in the first bathroom (over the shower) was flicking off and on rhythmically, indicating an electric issue. Other small but not-terrible things to note: there's no one on site and communication is only through What's App (make sure to download it ahead of time and have internet or international minutes).

Unique place, safe and quiet...

Liked: It was in an amazing neighborhood. Close to many restaurants and in a quiet/safe area in Mexico. Aurora was always attentive and she would reply quick to any question. Love the uniqueness of this place.
Disliked: There was black mold on the walls in the bathroom and bathtub. Also, the bathroom shower head was very dirty. It needs to be clean better.
