Metro Mirage Hotel Newport

Very average

Liked: The view out of the window was great to wake up to in the morning.
Disliked: I stayed here nearly ten years ago and it looks like no maintenance has been done or minimal. Dirty walls, shipped cabinets and firm beds.

Worst hotel stay ever.

Liked: NOTHING!
Disliked: It was cold weather. The room heating was completely unresponsiveThe bed had minimal blankets. The room had two, quite old single blankets with worn frayed edging and dirty stains on both blankets. Single glazed windows. Bathroom shower enclosure was hatched with gaffer tape. No shower curtain or even a rail, edge too high to climb over safely (I have early stage PD so this matters). We arrived late after a long drive. We were cold in bed, just wanted to sleep but couldn't. Disgusting and disgraceful. Left early next morning, very angry.
