Metro Mirage Hotel Newport

A pleasant one night stay.

Liked: Easy to park and book in, the room was fine, near a bus route too, beautiful outlook.
Disliked: The pillows were to high, a variety of different sizes would have been better. The lift was a bit of a worry, very noisy, though I understand renovations are going on.I am not impressed with the $100 that is taken out, it has not been put back into my account yet, surely if you have credit card details, it can be taken out if damage is done or food not paid for, without this charge to everyone.

Liked: The position was good and our room had an excellent view of the water. Plenty of hot water for the shower. Linen clean.
Disliked: Run-down. The car parking was very awkward.

Thankfully the bed was comfortable.

Disliked: It was dirty and in desperate need of a refurb. Which is fine, but don’t charge high class rates for a low class establishment. The TV didn’t work. The pool was closed 3 hours before it was due to close.

A peaceful, relaxed stay outside...
