METRO INN

I had booked a room for the weekend but ended up coming a night earlier then expected. So they got us a room on short notice but this room was falling apart, stunk and had no batteries in the smoke alarm. We couldn't bring ourselves to stay there, it was that bad. The next room we ended up in wasn't terrible but not worth the $220 I was paying a night.

Disliked: Poor quality room conditions.

Horrible. I felt dirtier staying...

Liked: The location is close to the Banff Trail LRT station which makes it great if you want to commute around the city with the train.
Disliked: That motel is not suitable for human habitation and it was only until the last few days, that the staff even spoke to me. I should have read the reviews. My room was not cleaned at any point during my 10 day stay at the "hotel".

Disliked: Extra debit charges for deposits and charging for pet fees

Cheap and dirty. You get...

Liked: It was cheap and there was no fuss checking in or out.
Disliked: It smelled like smoke, there was garbage under the bed, there were stains on the blanket, you could hear everything in adjacent rooms.

Liked: The people at the front desk were very nice. Sheets were clean. There were no bugs! Very convenient to the train station
Disliked: There's definitely some issues such as overall maintenance. There is no breakfast
