Passable

Liked: The breakfast was very nice despite not being offered the fried bread stated on the menu. The bed was very comfortable and room was very clean.
Disliked: I didnt exactly feel welcome. The owner told me i shouldn't have used booking.com and she also told me the pub over the road didnt do food. It does and she knows it does because ex employees from the hotel work there. When i checked in i was asked what time a i wanted breakfast. When i answered it felt like the owner was trying to make me eat at a different time because some "doctors were staying there". I went to the earliest available breakfast slot which she said would be busy and proceeded to have breakfast on both days.The location was good

Liked: Family owned with a lot of warmth and welcome hospitality from hosts. Nothing was too much trouble . Great bar and interesting dining service including Chinese Thai, Indian UK dshes with an excellent fresh fruit and cooked breakfast menu Ample parkng on site . Interesting historic building with quirky artwork in reception rooms and bedrooms
