Poor
Liked: Drinks were cheap.
Disliked: Too noisy - not a lot of food options - it said they served food but they don’t.

Nice staff, horrific hotel in...
Liked: Staff were friendly and helpful
Disliked: Rooms were roughly the size of a prison cell (I would imagine) with an ensuite attached, which hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. It’s in a particularly rough area and there were kids cycling around in groups gone 1 am, shouting at the top of their voice outside the window. The hotel is called Mersey view, but the only thing I could see out my window was the chip shop across the road.Last orders were apparently called at 10:30, but the karaoke and loud music carried on beyond midnight. The rooms were advertised as soundproof, which they are definitely not because you can hear when the adjoining room flushed the toilet or anything else for that matter. I could hear snoring through the walls. The car park is pretty tight, but there is CCTV from the pub overlooking it so it is relatively safe. If it’s full there is an abandoned working men’s club opposite where everybody seemed to park, one such individual was doing doughnuts in the other car park at midnight after a few drinks.Despite reviews on here, there definitely is no food available at the hotel for any meal including breakfast. Unless you classify the small packet of frosties with a little carton of milk and no bowl or cutlery as the breakfast option. The temperature of the shower was non-adjustable. It was either really hot or freezing cold and there is no room to use the toilet unless you stand sideways on or sit sideways on.Even the floor of the room felt uneven when you walked across it, and didn’t fill me with the most confident when I stepped out of the shower and heard a pop as one of the floorboards lifted.I definitely would not recommend staying here. It looks like it used to be a nice place to stay, but now it’s the kind of place you spend the night if you’re too drunk to drive home or if you have pulled in the pub downstairs and need a place to move onto.

Fantastic stopver before morning flight
Liked: Lovely Landlady, warm and welcome greeting. Easy to park and great location for the airport.
Disliked: Rooms are above the bar, so depending on what entertainment is on downstairs you will be experiencing it through the floor and ceiling. Wasn't the end of the world for me as I'm not overly fussed but noise disturbance, but some people might find it a problem. Luckily noise will stop when pub closes.
