We had a pleasant stay.

Liked: Very clean rooms and the landscaping is beautiful.
Disliked: The room is very small. It was advertised bigger in the photos. Also the sauna was dirty.

Very good

Disliked: The system for viewing television is too complicated. It involves going through internet to get to TV. Leave the internet access to residents on their cell phones. Just provide television that you can turn on and watch programs of your choice. We spoke with other guests and they expressed the same frustration.

It was adequate, but not...

Liked: Breakfast was good and staff extremely pleasant.
Disliked: Our room was shellacked panelling and looked like an old cottage. A chair hanging from the ceiling and also shoes.The room had a 12” bar to hang your clothes, on and several robes already on it. That was not enough room for our clothing that needed to be hung. The room was so small there was no place for luggage and really no place to put things. We seemed to always be looking for something. The bathroom vanity was so small that we had to put the toilet seat down to have room for toiletries. I have never stayed in a room with so little space. It did not look like any pictures shown online, so we were disappointed. Very steep stairway to get to our room.

A beautiful weekend getaway!

Liked: I loved the decor and all the special touches that went into the design of the house. I also love that we had reservations for dinner and they knew who we were and took amazing care of us when we had a drink at the bar and then let us know when our table was ready. It felt very welcoming and comfortable.
Disliked: I was a little chilly in my room at night but I grabbed a blanket from the closet to help out. Otherwise it was great.
