Relaxing and pleasant stay in...

Liked: Location was great, close to town centre, sea front and train station with lots of choices of restaurants and pubs/bars. Breakfast was good quality full English and filling, with cereal and yoghurt options. The hosts Brian and Janet were friendly and helpful.

Excellent stay at Merridale guest...

Liked: We enjoyed the exceptional breakfast. There was so much to chose from, also the presentation, freshness and taste was 5 star, very filling. Plenty of space to leave the car.Local to the town and seafront.Lovely couple that run Merriedale who made us feel very welcome.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn't like, it was a perfect break.

Lovely B&B in a great...

Liked: Lovely B&B, 2 mins from the seafront and the town yet very quiet. We just booked booked a small room as we were going to be out most the time. The room was spotlessly clean, TV & tea/coffee/hot chocolate facilities. The bed was too soft for me but that?s a person preference. Breakfast was delicious & meant we didn?t need to eat for the rest of the day. The owner was lovely, nice to have a chat to & had lots of recommendations. There?s parking outside which would be tight if full but there?s also free on street parking at this time of year. The whole B&B was extremely clean & Covid regulations adhered to Would definitely recommend staying here

Liked: It was very clean, comfortable, great hosts and a very nice breakfast!Good base to explore all surrounding counties!
Disliked: Room was a tad small, but didn't spoil our stay.

Liked: Fantastic place to stay, everything is up to a very high standard it is situated in an excellent location with the beach and town are just few minutes walk away. Free parking is provided. Nothing was too much trouble They are very good with covid-19 rules, hand sanitising stations, Seating was per covid-19 guidance regulations The room (no 5)we had was kept very high clean standard and with sea views, well worth the walk up the stairs. Food was excellent, freshly cooked fantastic full breakfast done us until well into the day before we felt hungry again,� .� It was a Family friendly place to stay� Would defiantly� recommend�this establishment Thank you Bryan and Janet for an excellent B&B and looking forward to seeing you again
Disliked: Nothing to do with Merriedale Guest house, as they have no control of local works taking place but be aware there are some building works at the end of Garfield Rd and traffic is down to one lane and traffic builds up from around 4ish with the local car park cars leaving, just be mindful of this when arriving/departing Again this is NOTHING to do with the guest house
