Liked: Lovely setting and grounds with good places to sit and chat. Restaurant was good.
Disliked: Needs some maintenance (eg no net curtains in bedroom for privacy even though overlooking front entrance) and nobody cleaned my room.

Has potential but deffo not...

Liked: Large room. Very quiet (loud party happening in function room but we couldn’t hear a peep in our room, even with the window wide open!)Faded grandeur. Very few staff around but friendly when asked for help. Clean sheets, towels and main touch-points in the room. Lovely grounds and easy parking. Decent breakfast.
Disliked: Room very tired looking - torn curtain, stained wallpaper, mould on bathroom ceiling. Moths everywhere, with the ceiling and walls marked with many ex-moths.Their key machine was not working, so we had to report to staff to unlock the door with a master key each time we left the room (eg going for breakfast).The corridors are a maze and have numerous steps, even on ground floor - a bit annoying with a buggy. For some reason I thought there was aircon, but alas there wasn’t.

I arrived after the breakfast...

Liked: Great location - perhaps in need of a refresher decoration.
Disliked: TV didn’t work reliably…used my iPad so not the end of the world.
