Enjoyable stay but could do...

Liked: The breakfast was excellent and the bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: Overall hotel could do with a little TLC

Overall a good stay

Liked: The hotel and the grounds were lovely. We had a feature room which was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. The gentleman that served us in the bar and restaurant was excellent and a credit to the hotel.
Disliked: We found that the restaurant menu didn't have a lot of choice and we found the food was good but expensive for what we got. Also we ordered 2 coffees which was £11 which I know it is a hotel and you expect to pay a little more but that is too much

Liked: A huge room, big bed and a lovely bath! Perfect stay before our flight the next morning.Can’t fault it at all.

Disliked: The rooms had a considerable amount of mildew and mould. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls. We were in a signature suite also. Despite sending all the evidence to booking.com for a refund, they refused as they stated the hotel would not respond to them.
