Great hotel, good locations, very...

Liked: The room was pretty and well maintained.I was well received and the staff was very welcoming upon my arrivalThe location was great.The rooftop was amazingOnce they fixed the issue in my room, it was perfect.
Disliked: The window in my room wasn't closed off properly so I would hear all the noise on the street.The first night I slept through it as I was exhausted but the second night, I wasn't able to sleep as the hotel is on a touristy street ( but great location) and heard noise all the time ( people yelling, cars passing by, garbage truck at 6am).When I mentioned, it at the reception, they said they were going to look into it. But when I arrived in my room that night, I still could hear all the street noise - so I went back to the reception to mention this. There was no other room available so I had to sleep again in a noisy room. Luckily, I used towels to fix the problem partially myself. The next day, I commented about it again and by the next night it was finally fixed and I slept like a rose. So yes, the rooms are sound proof but I was disappointed in the way and the speeds the staff handled it - slow reaction, no apologies.
