Liked: Staff were fantastic, evening meal was good - special mention from my wife for the belly pork!! And the bed was amazingly comfortable.
Disliked: Breakfast wasn’t great, lukewarm and not a great choice. Bedroom was a bit tired, decor was worn and we had cobwebs in the corner of the room.

Liked: Perfectly located, 3 miles out of York. Just down the road from the main park and ride which we used. Really easy and good value to get into the town centre with no hassle. The room we had was huge, well laid out with a very large TV. The superking bed was very comfortable. We didn't have an evening meal, ate in town, but the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Staff were very good, efficient and polite.
Disliked: The decor was a little tired, the wooden furniture was very worn and the shower didn't work, no hot water, yet the water to the taps was steaming hot. The place just needs some basic TLC.
