We had a 2 night stay - my husband booked the Friday night and I the Saturday night. The receptionist said it would be OK to keep the same room for both nights - however, when returning to our room on Saturday afternoon the key wouldn't work, so we had to get it sorted out with reception. Seems there is no communication between staff. Apart from that, a very enjoyable stay.

Liked: Comfortable bed!
Disliked: Breakfast - no one to greet you and explain how the system worked.

Comfortable short-stay hotel with good...

Liked: Convenient location for the event I needed to attend, and plentiful parking (payable) which was essential for my trip. The hotel felt safe and friendly, and staff were helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable, and quiet, with good tea and coffee facilities. Bathrobe and slippers were welcome.
Disliked: The room facilities could have been a bit better, given the overall standard of the hotel, eg no fridge or hairdryer yet there was an ironing board and iron. Toiletries were very basic and wall-mounted: not a big problem - there was a notice to say that items could be provided on request - but one needs to be preparedNo air-conditioning made for an uncomfortable night on the hottest day of the year but this could not be helped! A tower fan was available in the room.

Disliked: The service was poor, the hotel is shabby and tired. The bar area is small and too close to the reception area.Breakfast was poor quality food, and they ran out of hot food.
