We had a 2 night stay - my husband booked the Friday night and I the Saturday night. The receptionist said it would be OK to keep the same room for both nights - however, when returning to our room on Saturday afternoon the key wouldn't work, so we had to get it sorted out with reception. Seems there is no communication between staff. Apart from that, a very enjoyable stay.

Liked: Comfortable bed!
Disliked: Breakfast - no one to greet you and explain how the system worked.

Liked: Very friendly and efficient reception. The team accommodated at short notice for dinner. Breakfast was very nice with a good choice of options.
Disliked: TV in the room was tiny. Also, no chair for the desk. I had to sit on the bed for a teams call, not ideal.

Liked: The location is good.
Disliked: The room is dark and dingy, very 70's. There was no hot hot water for one of my showers. The bath and shower curtain are so annoying, you can't have a decent shower. The food was not great.The starter pork belly was so hard and tough, the twister burger was nice, the Aberdeen burger was disgusting taste and smell. The gardens need help. The barman in the evenings needs customer service training, didn't Crack a smile once. There was a musty smell on arrival the foreign woman on duty said, she didn't smell anything and it's one of the better rooms, didn't ofder to move me. I heard the people above me, God knows what they were doing, dancing lessons, aerobics, very noisy. Not a pleasant stay for 4 days, very dated hotel, needs help all around. Wouldn't recommend. Don't bother with your normal reply of , we will look into it, it's not our standard.......

Liked: Spacious rooms, plenty of storage and parking.
Disliked: Noisy morning staff when starting clean up process. Noisy corridors. Also awoken by residents dog? Our sink in bathroom had no release mechanism to drain.
