Mercure Tunbridge Wells Hotel

We had a 2 night stay - my husband booked the Friday night and I the Saturday night. The receptionist said it would be OK to keep the same room for both nights - however, when returning to our room on Saturday afternoon the key wouldn't work, so we had to get it sorted out with reception. Seems there is no communication between staff. Apart from that, a very enjoyable stay.

Liked: Comfortable bed!
Disliked: Breakfast - no one to greet you and explain how the system worked.

Lovely stay in a comfy...

Liked: I booked it for my father and his lady friend. They liked it. Very comfy and calm. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Shame there is no lift. So, I chose ground floor on this occasion as my elderly father can't walk much or go up and down stairs. It is also difficult to phone the hotel direct. I tried several times and got redirected to a call centre, who could not help me with specific info about that hotel such as, Is there a lift ? etc. so I had to go in person to chat to them initially. Lucky, I live not too far from this hotel.

Liked: Staff was very professional no messing around we walk in was asking my name signed form was handed room entry cards . The room was excellent welcoming pack was a nice touch
