The restaurant food and staff...

Exceptional

Liked: Made a late booking on a whim. Place was easy to find and very quaint surrounds. The room was very spacious and well appointed. Soft comfortable king bed, very clean. The bathroom was exceptional, with a large corner bath, waterfall shower with good pressure and two sinks. We had dinner in the Kite restaurant attached and were very happy with the meals. Breakfast was good selection buffet and the cooked food option was fresh and plentiful. Staff were pleasant, friendly and attentive.
Disliked: The complimentary shower gel and shampoo in the shower needed to be refilled, but there was full bottles by the bath and the sinks, so it wasn't took much trouble to get out the shower and get some

Lovely location but needs refurb

Liked: Reception and resteraunt decor. bar staff friendly. Lovely location and outside space but don,t seem to be in use.
Disliked: No staff at reception on arrival waited ages to get key. Rooms tired in need of refurbishment. Towels very worn/grey need replacing. At breakfast buffet very sparce and not refilled so guests having to ask for things. Also had to remove a used tissue from the side of our breakfast table!
