Low Class Motel in Seedy...
Liked: Not a whole lot... Leaving was good...
Disliked: Had room booked for 3 nights for work. Vehicle didn't fit in car park. Car park actually belongs to the Bankstown sports club. Took multiple phone calls just to find that out as staff do not return calls and are completely unresponsive. Was told I could reserve a spot in the 5 min parking. When I arrived they had no idea what I was talking about and two the three spots occupied with one person half into the third spot. Nothing they could do (or wanted to do) to help, though eventually I managed to squeeze in enough.. Robotic customer service, no flexibility and no desire to accommodate. "Computer says No" kind of service..The motel is inside the Sports club so you have to sign in to the club with your personal information just to get to your room, whether you want to use the club or not. Facilities in the club are clearly focused on pokies and the only food offerings are very average. Best described as a low class dive. You could walk out on the street to find somewhere to eat, though there is no guarantee for your safety and nothing decent that is close by. The place is surrounded by derelict buildings in a very seedy area. Then there's the rooms... Very noisy, dated and barely clean.I did not feel comfortable letting my staff stay there. I booked a room at the Rydges and we stayed there instead for the following nights, despite having the Mecure already paid for. The Rydges was great.I stay often at the Mecure Liverpool and they are great. The Bankstown facility is detrimental to the Mecure business name, I believe.
