Hotel adequate, Stratford superb as...

Liked: Good architecture, friendly staff .
Disliked: No food one night duet power cut.Poor parking

Great stay

Liked: Plenty of staff, always willing to help with anything asked of them. Room was a quirky one on a corner of the building which made the stay even better. Room service also great. Location, 10mins in taxi into the town of Stratford for some great shopping, pubs and restaurants.
Disliked: We didn't realise there was also a swimming pool and didn't take any swimming costumes! Next time we will and also be able to enjoy the swimming pool.

Liked: The location is excellent.Breakfast is very good also with lots of choice. Was able to check in earlier which was a bonus.
Disliked: The decor could do with updating particularly in the bathroom

Lovely place to stay for...

Liked: The traditional style and sense of history. Friendly bar staff and reception staff.
Disliked: Sorry to learn that you are closing for a period of time, but look forward to staying with you again when you reopen.

Dated and dirty would not...

Liked: The location
Disliked: Nobody on reception and no bell. Smelt damp. Carpets frayed in public staircase, cobwebs on lights. Dull room and filthy carpets covered in stains and the shower was stuck on very hot water. I would not stay again extremely over priced

Disappointing

Liked: Didn't have breakfast location good
Disliked: Stayed here many times but Standards have dropped felt let down

Want to come back at...

Liked: Proximity of everything we wanted to do. The age of the building. Friendly staff in view that the whole place was closing for refurbishment the week after we were there.
Disliked: Felt a bit tired & the refurbishment will be welcome. Our room however was very good.
