Liked: Lisa on the front desk was exceptionally polite and helpful. She helped with getting us a good room that catered for our needs and helped with organising our meals and was on hand to deal with all our queries promptly and very efficiently. Yacob, who served us in the restaurant was also very halpful and polite.We always stay and the Kenwood when in Sheffield and wouldn't go anywhere else.
Disliked: Nothing, all good.

Still my go to hotel,...

Liked: Dinner good, ate both evenings in bar restaurant.Some issues with heating and bathroom fan in room, Lisa got it all quickly sorted. Lisa was very helpful and friendly, the staff are so good a this hotel. Very friendly to dogs. Nice laid back attitude. Second night of stay was very peaceful, best sleep I've had in ages. Room by the lake, stayed many times before, once had a lovely view, but ....
Disliked: Well, there used to be a lovely view; not keen on the new fencing outside lake rooms, which really spoils the view. First night noise from a prom and kids by the lake a bit noisy. Snooker fans at the hotel, one kept putting TV until 3 a.m. Told reception and they sorted it.Wanted to watch the news when having dinner as I was on my own, most of the bar eating area was at that point single people, mostly females. TV channel was changed to snooker, a policy in the evening, no one was watching it, annoying!

We loved the location and...

Liked: The breakfast was adequate. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The bed was SO HARD that I only slept on one of the three nights. I folded the whole duvet into three and slept on top of it, using coats for covers. Also, the bath was very, very slippery. There was no shower gel for our last night. Luckily we had a small bottle from another trip and shared this.
