Brilliant location; really nice hotel; friendly staff on reception and accommodating night porter who willingly served myself and my partner drinks on coming back to the hotel late.

Disliked: Only one gripe, the lampshade in our room was particularly dirty and should be removed. Looks OK when lamp off, though when on, fillthy.

Liked: The staff were friendly and helpful, I thought the cooked breakfast could have been kept hotter.
Disliked: I found the pillows were extremely uncomfortable the first night but they were changed the next day. I think there should be an information folder in the rooms. The restaurant was closed for a wedding on the Saturday and I had made a booking in the morning to eat in. It was very upsetting I could not get a meal in the restaurant but the chef did agree to cook. I settled for a sandwich. Its not the same eating in the lounge on your own, especially as it was deserted.
