Mercure Perth Hotel

Wouldn't return. Not good value for money.

Liked: It was clean and friendly.
Disliked: Over priced drinks. Cold rooms and very basic. Decor in rooms.

Liked: The location was very good.
Disliked: From the sign outside, which needs much needed attention to the bedrooms, this hotel needs a make over- bathrooms had black mould around bath seal, and dust was thick on skirting boards. Breakfast would have been a good experience if we didn't have to wait for it to be replenished eg bacon and mushrooms took 15mins and were told by staff " just coming" also having to wait for your egg order as they don't have them cooked apart from scrambled egg. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to my friends and was disappointed with the rooms.

Disliked: Very dirty carpet, a disgusting tatty chair in room, no bath plug chain, no hooks to hang robes on. Bed had a distinct odour, NOT pleasant. Poor selection at breakfast, orange juice not fresh, no porridge, mushrooms were very dry. No bread rolls, poor selection of pastries and fresh fruit.
