Liked: Good location for Gare du Nord. Could just see top of Eiffel Tower from the balcony
Disliked: Location felt unsafe. Stained carpets. Felt unclean. Dated. Very small room even for one person. Staff were unaccommodating. No water to drink in room. No amenities like shower cap. Expensive for what it was. Better in area

Regret!! Overpriced!!

Liked: Only the location was okay.
Disliked: NOT A 4 stars at ALL!! We paid around €600 for 3 nights without breakfast!! Not worth half of the price!!!The cleanliness. The floor was dirty. Overall dirty. The attitude of the staff, i was in my room nude, they just entered the room without knocking the door, they didn’t apologize. The conditioner, shower gel and shampoo were not refilled. We requested same, but nothing was done. We stayed for 3 nights, two nights we used our own shower gel and shampoo. The bathroom douche was broken, we asked for a replacement but no one cared to repair or give us a feedback. There are so much to say, tired of writing. Just don’t go there!!

Disappointed not to get the...

Liked: Nothing didn’t get to stay there they moved us to the ibis 3 minutes up the road. Said there was a technical issue with our room. Not happy.
Disliked: Booked as it 4 star. Got there they said did you not get a message? There’s a technical problem with your room so we’ve moved you to the ibis 3 minutes up the road. It wasn’t 4 star. They said it just the same. It wasn’t Internet wasn’t free toilet

The hotel should be condemned

Disliked: Lifts were broken, rooms were smelly, shower was clogged, rooms were small, breakfast staff were rude. Not enough dishes and cutlery available at breakfast, breakfast staff were rude. A horrid experience.

Great

Liked: Nest to station. Very clean and fresh. Allowed us to check in earlier than originally planned.
Disliked: Breakfast dishes/ cutlery seemed to be in short supply.

Disliked: Poor value for money, unclean and unhelpful staff

Expensive for what we got.

Liked: The hotel was well located to suit our needs
Disliked: I can’t see what we got for the extra cost for a privilege room. It was obvious all the furniture had been bought in auction as everything still had the lot stickers on it. The room was small and I certainly wouldn’t class it as a privilege room. I expected better from Mercure
