Staff really need training in...

Liked: Great location however check in was poor. No hello or good afternoon just name then asked if we pre booked early check in? What? Arrived 25 mins before check in all we wanted was a friendly greeting not to be viewed as an inconvenience. Definitely needs customer service training. Breakfast check in on last day was similar -staff member had no idea -asked if we enjoyed our stay? We were there for breakfast and told that was on another list -oh sorry I thought I was paying to stay here not do the job of staff.
Disliked: Clean , the room cleaning was great new modern seafront location excellent.

Had wedding to attend so...

Liked: Really helpful friendly staff, close to everything on the seafront
Disliked: Our room was supposed to be a partial sea view but Room 145 was definitely not. As we were only there one night it wasn’t worth bothering the staff with. We have another wedding in September in the area so may book again

Disliked: Breakfast good but as you order eggs doing fresh it would be better to order full breakfast instead of buffet. We noticed a lot of food wasted

Liked: Nice buffet breakfast. Comfortable hotel and good staff. Great location and views if you like Paignton beach.
Disliked: It was all fine but the quality of the hot breakfast items could have been a lot better. And not great for gluten free options.
