Liked: The hotel is a long walk into town, probably 50+ minutes. I stayed here specifically to force me to walk to the university each morning. The walk along the Thames is delightful, but it takes time.
Disliked: There are no exercise facilities.

Disliked: Just a complete ripoff.For 300€ per night you get a dark and smelly room on the ground floor with a dirty bathroom.The first room had the baskets with the dirty laundry in front of the windows.They indeed changed the room after we have asked, the new room was sadly not better. Just looking at the wall now not at the dirty laundry. So it was dark again, since there was also not enough light source in the room.The sink was dirty and did not drain the water away properly (pictures included as a proof).We have informed the staff at the reception. The very unfriendly woman went to look at it and said:“the water was already away. So I guess it’s just very slow“. We have asked to send some maintenance to the room while we were away to unclog the sink.When we came back from the city center (btw a 45 minutes walk), the sink was still getting full when you washed your hands.At the check out I have said to the same woman: „so I guess you did just nothing about the sink in our room?“She replied in a very unfriendly tone: „Am I supposed to go and fix it? I cannot repair the sink in your bathroom. But I did inform the maintenance.What else can I do?“. So no apologies for the inconvenience, nothing. This is the worst service and hotel experience we’ve had on our 2,5 week trip around the UK.Sadly it was our last night.So it kind of ruined our memories of this trip.
