Convenient, clean, pricey!

Liked: Amazing location, clean room, comfortable bed, good shower.
Disliked: Overwhelming smell of diffuser in lobbyPoor air conditioning on a hot nightThey didn’t know we wanted a twin room ( although had booked as such in booking.com - communication problem from site? )and it took some persuasion for them to detach and remake beds, but they did do it for us, so thank you!

Stay made comfortable because of...

Liked: Emma on the front desk was exceptional. I had a few requests pre arrival and she did her utmost to ensure we had a room that was suitable and comfortable for my 89 year old mother. Upon arrival I noticed she dealt with a difficult situation with another guest in a calm, professional and polite way. Hotel location excellent. Poached eggs cooked to perfection.
Disliked: Hotel was OK but for £239 excluding breakfast, it was a disappointment. Tired in places. The bedroom windows really need addressing. We paid extra for breakfast which, well, how best to describe it.....no menus, understaffed, no buffet guidance, nothing to decant the jams and spreads in. Lack of plates and cups. Cold plates for hot food. However I asked for poached eggs and they were cooked to perfection. This was not a four star breakfast.

Very nice hotel in excellent...

Liked: Staff were helpful and friendly. Location is excellent, about 10-15 walk to the city centre. Bigger bathroom than usual, nice walk in shower, nice big fluffy bath towels and good quality toiletries. Room was very clean, and the bed was comfy.
Disliked: Room was a bit small. Not enough space on the dressing table to put things (like make-up, toiletries), as the tray with kettle & beverages took up most of the space. A single shelf under the tv would help.

Good

Liked: Nice room, but a lot of things didn’t work.
Disliked: Could be a bit cleaner as for a 4 star hotel
